City of London School Highlights - August 9, 2024

What a fun week we had at nursery! The children were fully immersed in a variety of engaging activities that sparked their creativity and curiosity.

Amazing excursions

Our dragon flight visited the historic Guildhall Art Gallery, where we soared above and marveled at its masterpieces before descending to explore the ancient Roman amphitheatre hidden beneath the city streets.

Blue dragons enjoyed exploring with paint as they focused on creating Australian Aboriginal inspired dot painting.

Dragon flights

Through arts and crafts Dragon flights engaged in Australian animal leaf face craft.

During Jungle wreath activity in blue dragons children practiced “hua quan” flowers “hua”

Next week, we'll dive deeper into learning more about Australia and its rich culture as well as what makes it unique.

What are we doing next week

Dragon flights will be heading off to a trip to the Bank of England Museum.

We will be learning about the history of money, how currency is made, the role of the Bank in the economy, and explore interactive exhibits on financial literacy.
