A New Kind of Nursery

Sports & Exercise

We believe in investing as much into our children's physical development as we do their characters and their minds...

Sports-1
We believe in doing early years education differently. Our multilingual and multicultural team of Montessori and EYFS nursery teachers focus on teaching children about the wonder of the wider world...

Outdoor Learning

Playgrounds with Purpose

All of our schools either benefit from onsite playground facilities or spaces within walking distance that include all of the play equipment we need to encourage physical development and play. From swings and climbing frames through to trikes and grow beds, we have something for everyone and encourage the children to lead their own play under our close support.

Intercultural Nursery Education

Our Sports

The children benefit from set periods every day where we go out, explore, use the playgrounds and climbing frames and play equipment to stimulate their confidence in gross and fine motor control - hand eye coordination, movement and more. But each term, we'll focus on a particular sport to develop that sense of team work, and to plant the seeds for the types of exercise and games they'll undertake with their friends when they move on to primary school....

Nursery Sports-1
Summer Term Tennis & Athletics

Tennis & Athletics

In the summer term, our focus moves to racket sports like badminton, balloon tennis, tennis itself and, of course, athletics games like three legged races, hopping and jumping and throwing ahead of our sports day at the end of the summer...

football-1
Autumn Term Football

Football

In the Autumn, we focus on developing our kicking skills and passing, with games like football and rugby. It's not full contact, just learning the principles of passing to one another and scoring goals in the back of a net, or running and passing to one another in a fun, team-based game

basketball-1-1
Spring Term Basketball

Basketball

in the Spring, it's all about throwing - our basketball programme is about bouncing, passing and trying to throw balls into the hoops - a fun, invigorating game that teaches hand-eye coordination, distance and perspective and strength regulation
