Our Story

Why We Exist

Hatching Dragons began with a vision: to do childcare differently. We wanted to move beyond simply providing a safe place for children during the day, toward creating a community where early education also helps solve the challenges of modern London life, the pressures of high living costs, long working hours, and balancing family with career. Our approach connects three priorities: giving children a strong start, enabling parents to remain active in the workforce, and contributing to the city’s social and economic health. Because when we invest in children from the very beginning, we’re building the foundation for a more resilient, inclusive, and productive society.

We've developed a proprietary multinational curriculum that investigates 12 regions of the world, spending time to interrogate the people, the places, the animals, objects and cultural activities ( arts, literature, food, dance, you name it) of a particular country within that region. Ultimately, we want our children to graduate excited by the world, the people and cultures within it and primed with a belief that differences are to be celebrated
