Inspiring Early Years Education That Works for Families and Society
World-class nursery, daycare, and preschool settings designed for families who expect more than just care, they want an early education experience that supports their children, their careers, and the wider community.

More Than Standard Childcare, A Foundation for the Future
Why We Exist
Hatching Dragons began with a vision: to do childcare differently. We wanted to move beyond simply providing a safe place for children during the day, toward creating a community where early education also helps solve the challenges of modern London life, the pressures of high living costs, long working hours, and balancing family with career. Our approach connects three priorities: giving children a strong start, enabling parents to remain active in the workforce, and contributing to the city’s social and economic health. Because when we invest in children from the very beginning, we’re building the foundation for a more resilient, inclusive, and productive society.

Fully Flexible, Because London Families Need It
We know that our families lead busy, complex lives. Sometimes it’s impossible to get out of the office for a first visit. That’s why we offer fully flexible options, from virtual tours you can take at your desk, to call-backs at times that fit around your schedule. We’ve designed our service so that childcare works with your life, not against it.
Multicultural and Intercultural Childcare in London’s Economic Hubs
Our nursery schools are strategically located within walking distance of London’s main commercial districts, Westminster, the City, and Canary Wharf, so that working parents can remain close to their children during the day. It’s childcare built into the fabric of the city.
Our Nursery Schools
Our nurseries are located where they make the biggest difference to working families, embedded in London’s busiest commercial and residential hubs so parents can balance career and family life without compromise.

City of London
Our City of London nursery is right at the heart of the capital’s financial district. For parents working in high-demand roles nearby, it means no long detours, no juggling complicated commutes, just the peace of mind that your child is close, safe, and thriving.

Westminster Pimlico
Set within the grounds of the stunning St James the Less Church, this Grade 1 listed former primary school offers large playgrounds, bright classrooms, and a sense of history combined with modern learning. It’s the ideal choice for families working in government, creative industries, and nearby corporate sectors who want a nurturing yet accessible space for their children.

Canada Water
Bordering the Lavender Park nature reserve, our Canada Water nursery integrates the benefits of a forest school with city accessibility. Children can explore, play, and learn in nature, while parents benefit from excellent transport links to Canary Wharf, London Bridge, and beyond.

Intercultural Understanding
The intercultural understanding that our global educational programme can nurture
Global Citizenship
We've developed a proprietary multinational curriculum that investigates 12 regions of the world, spending time to interrogate the people, the places, the animals, objects and cultural activities ( arts, literature, food, dance, you name it) of a particular country within that region. Ultimately, we want our children to graduate excited by the world, the people and cultures within it and primed with a belief that differences are to be celebrated

Hear From Our Families
We believe in what we do but most importantly we want our families to as well. We regularly seek feedback from our communities via our monthly feedback surveys to better understand what we're doing right and what we need to do better to make this the best experience for you and your children. And we seem to be doing something right!
The staff are amazing, they are fully dedicated to the children’s development and they love to spend time with them. I have full confidence that my child is well looked after."
