Inspiring Early Years Education That Works for Families and Society
World-class nursery, daycare, and preschool settings designed for families who expect more than just care, they want an early education experience that supports their children, their careers, and the wider community.

Why We Exist
Hatching Dragons began with a vision: to do childcare differently. We wanted to move beyond simply providing a safe place for children during the day, toward creating a community where early education also helps solve the challenges of modern London life, the pressures of high living costs, long working hours, and balancing family with career. Our approach connects three priorities: giving children a strong start, enabling parents to remain active in the workforce, and contributing to the city’s social and economic health. Because when we invest in children from the very beginning, we’re building the foundation for a more resilient, inclusive, and productive society.

Our Curriculum: Preparing Children for a Global Future
The headline and subheader tells us what youWe know that the early years are when the foundation for lifelong learning is laid. Our curriculum explores 12 world regions over the course of the year, introducing children to the people, places, cultures, and traditions shaping the 21st-century global landscape.
These experiences help children develop empathy, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, abilities that will be invaluable as they grow into adults navigating an interconnected world. By starting early, we ensure that our children are equipped to contribute positively to the society and economy they will inherit.

Intercultural Understanding
Global Citizenship
We've developed a proprietary multinational curriculum that investigates 12 regions of the world, spending time to interrogate the people, the places, the animals, objects and cultural activities ( arts, literature, food, dance, you name it) of a particular country within that region. Ultimately, we want our children to graduate excited by the world, the people and cultures within it and primed with a belief that differences are to be celebrated.
Building Communities That Work for Families
We believe in what we do but most importantly we want our families to as well. We regularly seek feedback from our communities via our monthly feedback surveys to better understand what we're doing right and what we need to do better to make this the best experience for you and your children. And we seem to be doing something right!

All throughout, the care, love and attention given to my child/children have been second to none. My little boy couldn’t have wanted better carers — he started at 9 months or so and has flourished into a determined but considerate and highly communicative little boy: caring, courteous, and capable.
And my little girl started at the same age. Now in preschool, she sits happily with our Chinese books, pointing at the characters and communicating accurately.
It’s amazing and I have no doubt that the skills she’s learnt here will last a lifetime.

This nursery is fantastic and the staff are amazing. I thought it would be impossible for my son to settle into nursery as he cried non-stop for hours.
When the weather is nice the children get taken out to the Barbican, St Pauls etc too. You also get a really good public sector discount too.
We live quite far so would often arrive late and leave at different times but the staff were always happy to work with us and even offer breakfast despite us being late.

Another interesting thing is the 50/50 time split between English and Mandarin at nursery. After a year our child speaks both languages without any effort. That involves singing, nursery rhymes and simple day-to-day conversations.
Both children and parents take a part in events organised by nursery coming from both cultures e.g.: Christmas or Chinese New Year. It is a great fun and opportunity to get familiar with other children and their parents.
Highly recommended!

It’s one of the best!
My 4-year-old son was only there for one year and we loved it.
It’s a shame they don’t have more years, otherwise I wouldn’t have changed him to another school.
I liked it because there weren’t that many children and that way they could take better care of them. The caregivers are very kind.
If I have another baby I will not hesitate her/his to enroll in this Nursery.

The staff are amazing, and it seems that they all love their job. They always have a big smile and are very approachable.
My daughter has developed so much in the little time she has been there. Despite the nursery not having an outdoor garden, the children are taken out every day to local parks, soft plays and museums. Daily online logs with pictures allow me to see what activities my daughter has done throughout the day, how much she ate and drank.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Wonderful learning environment with extremely caring and dedicated staff. Resources and activities are always well thought through with the children’s interests in mind. Extra bonus is the dual language English–Mandarin curriculum!
The nursery is in a unique location that offers plenty of opportunities to explore nature and go on river walks. There is frequent communication with carers via their online platform and I often get live updates about what the children are doing throughout the day.

I’ve been sending my daughter here for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier with the care we are receiving. The staff are all kind and professional and they are teaching my daughter to share (which is not something she’s naturally good at haha :).
I love receiving the daily updates with developmental milestones and photos/videos of her time at nursery.
In my opinion the quality of care here has gotten better and better over time and I think they also just received a high Ofsted rating as well.

Our daughter is full time and on a daily basis, we see the changes in her development and the enjoyment she has at the nursery.
The staff are very approachable and you can see the love they have for the children and the children have with them.
All the children interact with each other which we see as a benefit to our daughter. She is looking at what the older children are doing and trying to copy, which we see aids her development.
The perfect start for little learners. Highly recommended!

Hatching Dragons Westminster is a happy, friendly nursery that both my children (aged 2 and 10 months) love going to.Every day the kids are taken out to the park to play and run around and they are fed healthy food and snacks. I feel like my children have picked up a lot of skills and come home with improved language after being at nursery and my son is always excited to tell me about the different activities they have done, such as messy play, building towers, singing songs.
I'm delighted we found this community and would recommend the nursery to anyone.
