As we explored the greeting 'Namaste,' the children’s excitement highlighted the importance of language learning in building cultural awareness and early communication skills. During circle time, we shared a lovely storybook from India that included both English and Hindi translations. The children were fascinated to hear a new language and eagerly joined in as we learned how to say "hello" in Hindi "Namaste!" It was a wonderful way to explore communication, celebrate cultural diversity, and build early language awareness in a fun and meaningful way.

To celebrate VE Day, our little scientists explored colour mixing using pipettes, red and blue water, cotton balls, and tissue paper. Our Sporty Minis sessions are a dynamic part of our enrichment program, helping children build coordination, balance, and confidence through playful physical activities. This week in our Sporty Minis session, the children had a fantastic time staying active and building their coordination. They raced through cones, weaved between colourful fabrics, and practiced balancing bean bags with great focus. A highlight was moving side to side like sneaky cheetahs full of giggles and imagination! It was a fun-filled way to develop physical skills while learning through play.
