Our curriculum
Our Hatching Dragons Curriculum is designed to give children a rich and balanced learning experience, one that nurtures not only early academic skills, but also emotional wellbeing, creativity, and social confidence.
We place emotional wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. Children are supported to understand and express their feelings, build resilience, and develop a strong sense of self. Through mindfulness, imaginative play, problem-solving and critical thinking activities, we help children grow emotionally as well as intellectually.
Our curriculum reflects the way young children naturally learn. The five areas of learning (Feelings and Friendships, Thinking Creatively, Technical and Life Skills, Sharing Thoughts and Ideas, and Learning About My World) flow seamlessly together. This means that when children explore one idea, they are also making meaningful connections across many others, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love of learning.
