Policy: Fees

In this article, we’ll walk you through our nursery fees, explain how they’re calculated, and share the resources available to help you understand your options when choosing the right plan for your family.

Key Points

  • Invoices are payable on the 1st of each month to cover the following month’s fees.

  • A refundable deposit equal to one month’s fees is required to secure a place. This is returned 30 days after notice has been served.

  • For immediate starts, the initial payment will be equivalent to 2 monthly fees: 1 month deposit and 1 month in advance.
  • Payments should be made via GoCardless Direct Debit (issued automatically once your contract is signed), or alternatively through Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) or Workplace Nursery Payments (WPN).

  • Late payments may incur a 5% fee, and care may be suspended if fees remain outstanding for 1–2 months.

  • No refunds or reductions are offered for absences, holidays, or nursery closures.

  • A one-off, non-refundable registration fee of £200 applies at the time of enrolment.

  • We offer a range of discounts, including sibling and referral discounts. You can read more about them here.

  • Funding is applied in line with government schemes, but parental contributions may vary as children get older due to changes in available funding.

HOW FUNDING IS CALCULATED:

  • Government funding is offered on a term-time basis (38 weeks). Since we operate year-round, we stretch the funding across 51 weeks so that your monthly invoices remain consistent.

  • This works out as:

    • 15 hours funding = 10 hours per week (around 1 full day or 2 half days)

    • 30 hours funding = 20 hours per week (around 2 full days or 4 half days)

  • Any sessions scheduled outside the funded hours are charged at our regular rates (see fee sheets above).

  • Please note that some costs are not covered by funding, such as meals, specialist teachers, excursions, and additional language classes. (This may vary depending on the type of funding applied.)

  • A limited number of fully funded places are available, capped at 20% of our total enrolments.
